iron Basket
when practicing golf, should i hit with the same club the whole time to get more consistent?
i really suck with the long irons so should I just hit the entire basket of balls with just a 3-iron? and then the next time switch to 4iron or something? i'm really inconsistent so i'm thinking this might help?
what about using hybrids?
Some teachers like that idea (especially with a 6 iron), but many disagree with that. You need to learn how to hit every club (even the hybrids), so divvy up practice time. Try bouncing around- start with a 7 iron, switch to the 3 wood, go to the SW, then driver, then 9 iron, etc...
Remember to go through your pre-shot routine after every 4th or 5th swing... that will help with consistency.

Did you work odd jobs when you were young to make money? And how much did you get paid?
I used to iron for people in my neighborhood for $2.00/basket of clothes and clean houses for $5 - $10. Also, lots of babysitting jobs at .25 cents/hr. I can remember when that went up to .50/hr. It helped pay for my Beatles records and material to make clothes.
My first job was a paper route, I delivered roughly 200 throw away papers on Thursday and Sunday mornings. Since it was a throw away paper (the paper costs a dime a week if the reader wanted to pay) , so my monthly pay varied 7 - 14 dollars. When I was eleven I went to work through a local youth employment agency, I got SS card and went to work for $.35 an hour (usually dug mud from the backyards of foothills residents after a rain). At fourteen, if you showed up at the local car wash early enough you could earn up to ten bucks a day, then finally went to work part time for a real liquor store (not a circle K), I delivered whiskey and beer to local residents, and stocked shelves for about $.65 an hour. You gave me some good memories thanks for the question:)
