Well, what can I say. Bring some soup home…and a cow; they are so cute. Now you will have to reread Heidi and it will mean so much more to you as will that painting I have from Gram's dining room with the red sunset on the white winter mountains. Sounds fabulous, rain and all.
All we have managed to accomplish here is a queen sized quilt (36 hours) top pieced and stitched and hung as altar and ambo cloths; lush flower arrangements done by Anna using our giant rhubarb leave and yellow glads that made folks catch their breath; a marriage eucharist, a reception; a family breakfast at Jensens where I managaed to commission a wrought iron votive candle tree just like the one at Saint Peter's from a welder who was there and will do it for the cost of the iron; and a PdD completed, formatted splendidly and cleaned up by Pamela and ready to ezap to Africa tomorrow morning. Friskette is having abandoned child syndrome but tomorrow I will try to make it up to her. Meanwhile, you will be eating something marvelous, while gazing as someone and something marvelous and not wishing you were home. Love to all. Yo mama.
