I live in nj close to nyc and penn. i was looking for places to shop for awesome accent pieces like leaner mirrors and wrought iron accessories. watch a lot of hgtv and i see the designers go to stores that have a variety of styles and items. i was wondering if there was anywhere in new jersey, new york city, or nearby penn that would have what i'm looking for.
I've explored places like ikea and target. I'm really looking for like thrift stores or like one of kind boutiques.
I get lots of compliments on my decorating, and I have three places I buy things--Hobby Lobby, Marshall's and the Goodwill.
I don't know which of these you have in New York, but Hobby Lobby has lots of metal things, including wrought iron. Marshall's has a little of everything, and the Goodwill is different every day. I always see decorator's cars in the Goodwill parking lot.
