iron Candle How CAN GET CANDLE WAX OUT OF MY CARPET ?
during Christmas vaction I lit a candle (red) and unfortunitly it drip on my carpet and I am at a loss as to how to clean it. My mother told me she rembered it could be cleaned with an iron and some kind of cloth but wasn't sure, please help!
You need two things that you probably already have: a paper bag and an iron.
Set the iron on low put the bag on the wax and heat it with the iron. The heat from the iron will attracted the wax like a magnet, and the bag will absorb it for you. You may need to adjust the temperature of the iron. Just don't set it too high as it will melt your carpet. A rag will also work in place of the bag.
Finally there may be a slight stain in your carpet after so have some rug cleaner handy to get that out.
