I'm african/italian so I'm light brown and my hair is black with dark brown (natural) lowlights. Naturally, it's in really tight curls. I usually flat iron it. Clothing, If your a caramel color. Most colors will match. If your darker go with darker shades and if your lighter go with lighter shades.
Hair...flat ironing will damage it and like the other post said, wear it curly and get something for the frizz...curls are always in. Maybe in the summer add a flower, and winter get a snow hat
Long story short. You have to figure out what works for you, go to the mall and try on everything. Dont be afraid to buy different colors of eyeshadows..mabye start by going to the dollar store and getting the cheap stuff just to see the color. then invest the big bucks into good makeup.
