Im looking at buying a house with nice dark cherry cabinets, black granite counter tops, tan travertine (spell?) flooring, and a little darker brownish carpet. I'm trying to figure out a paint color scheme that would work to tie these all together. The stairs banister is also cherry with wrought iron bars... the bathroom has antiqued hardware but lighter tile and the same brownish carpet... any ideas? tips? etc? thanks!
i think you should consider a yellow, not vibrant but more of a popcorn butter yellow. I have cherry cabinets and accent them with matching wood work then other co lours we have in the room is a olive green that looks great and makes it pop hope this helps

How do I get the creases out of my wall scroll?
I just got a few Anime wall-scrolls for Christmas (Basically a big hang-able cloth with a picture on it,) and for some reason it has creases all the way down it, ruining the picture. I don't want to risk ironing it and removing/messing up the picture. Is there a way I can straighten it out?

You iron though another cloth, so the heat will flatten the crease, but you do not have to worry about excessive heat ruining the color or presentation of the scroll
Ok I am thinking about getting a CHI hair straightener (CHI 1" red toile scroll iron) and i am wondering if it is a good hair straightener? I have gone through about 4 or 5 hair straighteners in the past 1 or 2 years (about $40-$80 each) but obviously CHI is a little more expensive... I want one that will last about 3 years or more... and still be good quality... does anyone know? Also on their website they say that they are "squeeze sensitive" what does that mean? I've also heard the CHI breaks easily.. is that true?

iron Scroll what to do with old cast iron hot water radiators?
I have 11 old cast iron radiators in my house that i'm renovating. I'm told they are "scrolled" radiators. They have designs on them and are painted white. They seem to be in very good condition for their age. I have all different sizes with the biggest one having 13 "bars" across and about 3.5 ft high. I'm trying to figure out what I should do with these. I'm puting in central heat and air so I have no use for them. Should I try to sell them? if so, where and how much are they going for? Should I recycle them? How much could I get for them that way?
