wrought iron candelabra I need help in fixing an old candelabra.?
I have just picked up a beautiful candelabra but the colour has faded and has some rust in some parts. I was hoping someone could tell me what products to use and what to do to fix it. I would like to get rid ot the rust so it doesn't keep spreading and paint it again but I don't know if I have to put an under coat of anything before painting or what paint to use. Should I get a spray can paint or just paint it with a brush. Please help The candelabra is wrought iron. Thank you
Use some Naval jelly to remove the rust,, Steel wool the entire Candelabra, you don't have to take the entire Candelabra down to bare metal, use rustoleum Primer on it, then either spray or paint it with a brush in the desired color of your liking , your call , ( I personally like spray paint )
