Early 1900s themed wedding?
I am having an early 1900s, like around the Titanic era (1912) themed wedding. My wedding dress looks a lot like one of Rose's dresses, except white, and we're getting wrought iron candleholders and candles for our centrepieces. We are having a string quartet play at the ceremony and durng dinner. Any other ideas on how I can make it seem more vintage like that?

What do you think of this wedding gift?
I have a close (male) friend who's getting married; I barely know his fiance. I won't be able to attend their wedding, but will be giving them a gift. I was thinking of buying a large wrought iron candle holder and candle that they can place on their mantle. What do you think?
I will be leaving the gift at my friend's house, so there won't be shipping costs involved.
I would look at their registry first to see what is on there - maybe there is a candle holder. That way you could buy what you wanted, yet get them the specific one they wanted. If you do decide on the candle holder, just make sure there is a gift receipt included in the box, then you're covered.
