When I clean out a closet or junk drawer I ask myself “Have I used it in a year?” and “Do I really need it?”, which seems to work about 80% of the time. It’s ok to hold on to some stuff. I have had these little cast iron candle sconces a freind gave me for my B-Day about 15 years ago (ok maybe longer.) They are kind of shabby chic and don’t go with my decore but every time I come across them I swear I will find a place to use them. Then I start thinking maybe Leila will use them when she has a place of her own. . . Writing this has made me realize how rediculous I am.
